How To Build a DVD Image from CD Images

  1. Download the file make.dvdiso.sh, and make sure it is executable
  2. Create a directory, and put all the CD Iso images in it.
    Example:
    $HOME/SL44i386/
    $HOME/SL44i386/SL.44.100906.i386.disc1.iso
    $HOME/SL44i386/SL.44.100906.i386.disc2.iso
    $HOME/SL44i386/SL.44.100906.i386.disc3.iso
    $HOME/SL44i386/SL.44.100906.i386.disc4.iso
    $HOME/make.dvdiso.sh
  3. Now run "make.dvdiso.sh
    Example:
    ./make.dvdiso.sh SL44i386 SL.44.i386.DVD.iso
  4. The above step makes a DVD iso image at named
    Example:
    $HOME/SL44i386/SL.44.i386.DVD.iso
  5. burn normally making sure to create a bootable dvd
    Many people use growisofs
