Tyan Thunder K8W

Motherboard - S.L. 303

An install of Scientific Linux 303 x86_64 worked, and the system is working properly.

The Good
The installer boot kernel properly detects and loads the sata_sil driver.

The Bad
On previous versions of Scientific Linux, the silicon image 3114 chipset was not working in x86_64 mode.
