Another Sun Fire X4100
Overall Summary
Very good server machine. Older Scientific Linux releases didn't recognize the SATA controller, but those that did had no problems.

The Good
My favorite part of this machine was it's lights-out management. Even though I was halfway around the world from the machine I was able to get out of any lockup I got the machine into.
The Bad
None
Extra Steps Needed
When the SATA was detected, no extra steps were needed.
I'm sure that if someone really wanted to run an older release on this machine, they would just need to figure out how to get the installer to see the SATA and they could do it.
