Scientific Linux 5.1 its available for i386, and x86_64 platform. You can download linux for i386 platform here  you need 1 DVD or 7 CDs. If you wont download linux for x84_64 platform click here you need 1 DVD or 7 CDs . Live version linux you can get here

I'm install Scientific Linux 5.1 on i386 platform. you can read how you can install Scientific Linux.  Before we can install linux we must burn CDs / DVD Images .
