There are 5 different methods of installing.
One of the most common (CDROM) doesn't show this screen.
Network installs are most common among larger institutions which have good networking, and servers to install from.
Hard Drive installs. These tend to be quite fast, but you can only do them on machines where you will not be repartitioning your hard drive. These also involve the most setup.
Select your method and hit [OK]

- Local CDROM
Don't select this unless you have the set of Scientific Linux Installtion CD's. In which case you probrubly won't see this screen. - Hard Drive
You need to transfer the set of Scientific Linux Installation CD iso images to a directory on your hard drive. Be sure to do a md5sum on the iso's. to ensure they downloaded properly.
Be sure to keep track of what drive, partition, and directory on that partition that you have your iso images. - NFS image
Select this if you have a NFS server that you can install from. - FTP
Select this if you have a FTP server that you can install from. - HTTP
Select this if you have a HTTP (web) server that you can install from.
